Applying to a job on craigslist?

James Dilworth has posted a great piece with some classic advice for anyone applying to a job, whether it’s on craigslist or anywhere else, really.
The main takeout? Be honest and be yourself. He says…
“If you just regurgitate a form cover letter from some book you read, or the email you sent to the last company, I’m going to yawn and hit the delete key before I ever get to your resume.”

…and…
“I’d much rather meet with someone who admits they’ve failed, than someone who pretends they’ve always been successful.”

Good stuff. And definitely worth listening to.
