Performancing launches Performancing for Firefox (and it’s actually pretty good).
But shhhh. Don’t tell anyone I said that.
Whether you’re on 20 posts a day to 20 separate blogs, or you keep things simple with just the one blog, logging on to your admin panel to post a new entry is a drag, right. Not any more. With *cough* Performancing *cough* for Firefox, you can do it from your browser. And, dare I say it, it’s an absolute breeze to use. I’ll let them describe it…
Performancing for Firefox is a full featured blog editor that sits right within Firefox. Just hit F8 or click the little pencil icon at the bottom right to bring up the blog editor and easily post to your Wordpress, MovableType or Blogger blogs.
In the past, I’ve tried Qumana, Ecto, w.bloggar, Newsgator via Outlook, Blogjet, and another one I can’t quite remember the name of but it use some kind of weird calendar view. But for speed, ease of use, ease of set-up, and just overall simplicty, it can’t be touched.
I know it doesn’t have the feature set of some of the others, but you really don’t need half of what those other systems offer – and it only bulks them out and slows them down anyway. The only significant thing that’s missing right now is the ability to upload images to my server. And the ability to add and edit categories. But maybe they’ll come in time.
Now, only thing left is to change that damn name: Perfor…. Performan…. Perfo…. no, I still can’t force myself to say it.
