Teenagers read bits not books!

By on December 22 2005

Seems like we’ve got a bit of a problem here with teenagers who can’t read a whole book because they are so used to having little bits to work on.

You can read the whole story here but the gist is that QCA are concerned that schools are increasingly relying on using, studying and discussing extracts from books and short stories instead of full and, in many cases, demanding texts.
This news story is worth watching, or even reading! There will be a Government response!
