What a fantastic description for someone hanging onto their job by the skin of their teeth (or by hanging their coat on a shaky hook!)

Any coats hung on shaky hooks in the UK?
What about in UK Education?
What about UK Education Secretary? Is Ruth Kelly’s hook shaky? Is her coat about to fall?
I feel a bit sorry for Ruth really, I don’t actually know her in person you understand, but I do feel a little sorry for her.
She isn’t the girl who has everything, instead she seems to be the girl who gets blamed for everything – everything in education that is.
At the moment she’s getting the blame (according to some sections of the press) for employing every paedophile/sex offender in the UK as a teacher in one of our schools.
No, its not true, but she is getting the blame because the buck stops with her.
Should it?
Is Ruth Kelly the only Education Secretary ever to supposedly employ sex offenders in our schools? What about her predecessor and the one before that and the one before that too?
Should Ruth take all the blame for all past failings?
Is Ruths hook shaky? Is her coat likely to fall?
