Aveda This is a pretty good marketing plan - but what if Denver doesn’t win?

From Denver Business Journal:

Downtown Denver’s new Aveda Institute has fully opened just in time to offer free haircuts on Jan. 24, if the Denver Broncos win Sunday’s AFC Championship game at home.

The institute, located in the former Media Play space on the 16th Street Mall, began opening in September 2005. Its classes in hair and body treatments started at that time.

The institute divides classes basically into cosmetology, which teaches things such as shampooing and makeup application, and estiology, which focuses on skin rejuvenation techniques like facials and aromatherapy.

The facility also offers salon and spa services, ranging from haircuts to massage, to the public. Supervised institute students provide the services.

Customers can buy Aveda products — from shampoos and lotions to cosmetics — at the location, as well.
