I know you. You spend all week trying to think of something interesting to write, and don’t come up with a thing. Then, all of a sudden you have 10 ideas.

And you write them all down. And then you post them all in super quick succession. Justonepostafteranotherafteranotherafteranother.

But what happens? That first post out of the 10 you’ve just written is probably now on page two of your blog in the space of 30 seconds. And anyone landing on your front page is now another click away from seeing it. Which means there’s more of a chance that it could go unnoticed.

So instead of posting 10 entries at once, give them some space. Use your blogging software to ’schedule’ your entries. Stagger their posting times by an hour or two. Or even just 30 minutes. Let them breathe. Give people a damn chance to read them.

After all, that’s why you wrote them, isn’t it?
