Modeling is one aspect of the beauty business that is only available to a select few. Daria Werbowy is one of the lucky ones with the natural beauty and acquired skill to succeed, but she has helped herself along the road to success with not only taking good care of her natural beauty, but being wise beyond her 22 years of age. She signed the deal to be the face of Lancome a year ago. Beauty modeling is different from fashion gigs, Werbowy said, because a fashion shoot is sort of show up, look great and make a beautiful picture. Beauty is a more intimate deal.

She’s representing an entire brand and to do that properly, she’s learning the business, how products are developed, manufactured and marketed.

“It’s opening a new chapter to being a model,” Werbowy said. Her personal beauty mantra is “respect individuality.” “No one is perfect. I’m far from it. I want to inspire someone to find their true colors.”
