Coping with Healthcare Job Stress
Healthcare jobs are notoriously stressful; some call it “compassion fatigue”. Here are some ways healthcare workers deal (in no particular order):
- Cigarettes
- Coke/Coffee/Caffeinated Beverage
- Illicit Drugs
- Talk Therapy
- Antidepressants/Prescription Medication
- Exercise
- Yoga
- Qigong
- Volunteering (this one I don’t think I could pull off as well)
- Tension balls
How do you cope with daily on-the-job stress?
