Medical Writing Advice from Dr. Emma Hitt

By Hsien-Hsien Lei on April 11 2006

Healthcare career-wise, my first passion has always been genetics and my second, writing. I haven’t always had much confidence in my writing, though, but I do my best each and every single day here at healthcare.wurk.net and elsewhere. Thankfully, there are other more experienced medical writers sharing their experience and expertise.

Dr. Emma Hitt is one such seasoned medical writer. At her website, she has a section all about science writing with topics ranging from how to get started in science writing to finding new clients. And, she’s begun a mentoring service that must be well-worth the money. She also runs a weekly jobslist that is easy to subscribe to and filled with a range of jobs that would appeal to almost any medical writer.

Pay Dr. Hitt a visit. You’ll be glad you did.
