Volunteer Your Services
You have always wanted to be a makeup artist… what better way to get known than to offer your services to a charity fashion show. From experience, I find that if you need to know what is going on in your own community, ask your local librarian. For some reason, she knows everything.
And seeing that you are offering your services for free, there is a good chance that you will at least get to talk to someone about what you have to offer. The benefits… your name on the “playbill” as one of the make-up artists.
