I read a really good Pure Visibility blog post the other day that discussed how important it is for students and graduates to be on LinkedIn saying, “If you’re looking for a job, you can’t NOT be in LinkedIn. It positively shocks me that every college and university is not making this clear to today’s graduating class.”

That’s true and, I agree, colleges should be doing a better job of stressing the importance of LinkedIn. Even if you don’t have a lot of experience you can still create a profile (internship experience counts) and connect with alumni who can help with your job search. Here’s more information on how to use LinkedIn and how it can help with your job search.
