salon Kate Shapland looks at the beauty industry as a whole, but I was quite interested in what she had to say about a certain hairstylist in Britain. I would commit this paragraph to memory!

Michael Rasser’s Philosophy…‘My approach, and that of my salon Michaeljohn, has always been one of individuality. I don’t believe in a look of the week. This editorial, from Mike Hazelwood at the Visalia Times is a funny look at a man who cheated on his barber and went to the Cosmetologist with his wife. He also has a sister who is a cosmetologist, and his story just might ring true with you, as it did me. Here is a bit of the story, read the rest here:

For years I’ve been loyal to two shops (depending on my workplace situation): Tulare Barber Shop and Ernie’s Barber Shop in Visalia.

To my barbers, Dave, Ernie, Phil, Martîn — I’m sorry. It wasn’t you, guys, it was me.

You see, I agreed to go shopping with Wifey last weekend.

“But I need to get a haircut first,” I said.

“I want a haircut, too,” she said. “We should get one together.”

Ha, what a jokester Wifey is. She’d look ridiculous with a No. 1 Fade High and Tight Around the Ears.
